Quick answer
Superpower costs $199 a year and measures 54 distinct markers by our count, about $3.69 per measured marker, on prices read October 31, 2026 from Superpower's pricing page. That is the lowest yearly membership price we track outside New York and New Jersey, where the checkout price doubles. Ours is not its "100+ biomarkers" figure: most of the gap is ratios worked out from other results.

Below: what you pay all in, what the panel measures, who runs it, the refund and renewal terms, and the states it leaves out. Its full scorecard is on the Superpower review page, and every service is ranked on the best blood tests page.

What Superpower costs, all in

What Price Source
Membership, one Baseline draw a year "Members get 100+ lab tests from one blood draw. $199 per year." Superpower pricing
New York and New Jersey $399 a year, a separate New York and New Jersey product in its checkout data Superpower checkout
Advanced Health Panel upgrade $189 on top ($199 in NY and NJ); list of 130+ not itemised Superpower checkout
At-home draw Extra; "the at-home draw fee disclosed to you at the time of booking" Membership agreement
Lp(a), homocysteine, PSA, metals Add-ons, priced separately Our biomarker table

The pricing page itself flags the state difference in small print: "Pricing may vary for members in New York and New Jersey" (Superpower pricing). The checkout data names a separate New York and New Jersey membership product at twice the price, so a member there pays double for the same Baseline panel. Our New York and New Jersey cost guide puts that next to every provider that publishes a state price.

Measured, calculated and claimed

Superpower markets "100+ biomarkers". We mapped its published Baseline list to one set of marker names and set aside values calculated from other results, such as cholesterol ratios, HOMA-style indices and Castelli scores. That leaves 54 measured markers.

Count Number Basis
Superpower's headline 100+ Its pricing page
Canonical markers on its list 89 Our mapping of its panel data
Calculated from other results 35 Ratios and indices
Measured, our count 54 Distinct measured markers
Cost per measured marker $3.69 Yearly price divided by measured markers

The count is the subject of a lawsuit. In January 2026 Function Health sued Superpower, alleging the membership "actually includes approximately 55 direct laboratory measurements" (ArentFox Schiff). Superpower calls the claims baseless, and that is an allegation, not a finding. Our own count, made with the same rules for every plan, lands close to that number. The side-by-side is in our Function vs Superpower guide.

What the Baseline list leaves out matters as much as the count. Lp(a), homocysteine, PSA, vitamin B12 and heavy metals are paid add-ons, and our 31 October read of its panel found no fasting insulin line. ApoB, hs-CRP, total and free testosterone, cortisol, ferritin and vitamin D are in. The marker-by-marker view is on the ApoB and Lp(a) pages.

Who runs the samples, and who reads them

Superpower does not run a lab. Its membership agreement says: "Superpower does not own or operate a laboratory. All laboratory testing is performed by LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics, or another third-party laboratory" (Superpower membership agreement). The pricing page points members to "2,000+ Quest locations or at-home" draws (Superpower pricing). Any lab can be looked up on the CMS QCOR CLIA lookup.

Clinicians come from an outside practice. The agreement defines the Medical Group as "an independent professional entity that employs or contracts with Healthcare Providers and that is not owned or controlled by Superpower" (membership agreement). Those clinicians review results and write the action plan; an AI chat sits on top.

Renewal, refunds and HSA

The membership renews by default. The agreement says it renews "AT THE THEN-CURRENT, NON-PROMOTIONAL MEMBERSHIP RATE" (membership agreement), so an introductory price does not carry into year two. Cancelling costs nothing, but "Cancelling does not by itself entitle you to a refund" (same source).

Section 14 adds a one-time "Satisfaction Refund" of the base fee for a first term only (membership agreement). Read the timing in section 14 before you rely on it.

On payment, the FAQ says: "Superpower is HSA/FSA eligible, and members can request an itemized receipt" (Superpower FAQ). Insurance is not accepted. Our HSA and FSA guide covers what your plan administrator may ask for.

Ranked on safety and priceSee every blood testing service side by side

States it leaves out

Superpower's FAQ lists nine states: "We are not yet available in: Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Wyoming." (Superpower FAQ). New York and New Jersey are served at the higher price. See New York for every provider's status there.

Privacy

The agreement lets Superpower "de-identify and anonymize your Personal Information" and "use or disclose such de-identified information for any purpose" (membership agreement). AI chat submissions are also used to "train and improve our own artificial intelligence models" (same source). Our privacy comparison sets this against the other services.

Our verdict

Superpower is the cheapest way into a yearly membership panel if you live outside New York and New Jersey and do not need Lp(a) or insulin in the base price. Per measured marker it lands about level with Function, which measures more and draws twice a year; Empirical Health is cheaper per marker for a one-time heart-focused panel. In New York and New Jersey the doubled price takes away its main advantage. Compare it with SiPhox and Empirical, or see every plan priced on our price page.

Questions

FAQ

Is the Superpower blood test worth it?

For a yearly baseline outside New York and New Jersey, the price per measured marker is among the lowest we track, at $3.69. It is less of a deal if you want Lp(a), homocysteine or insulin, which cost extra or are missing, or if you live in New York or New Jersey, where the membership costs double.

How much does Superpower cost?

$199 a year on its pricing page, read October 31, 2026, for one Baseline draw. New York and New Jersey members pay a separate, higher price shown at checkout, and at-home draws and add-on panels cost extra. The membership renews at the non-promotional rate.

Is Superpower legit?

Superpower is a real company that sends samples to Quest, Labcorp or another third-party lab, with results reviewed by clinicians from an independent medical group. Its biomarker count is disputed in a lawsuit brought by Function Health. Our [legit check](/is-superpower-legit) lists the lab, the clinician setup and the open questions.

How many biomarkers does Superpower really measure?

By our count, 54 distinct measured markers on the Baseline panel. The rest of its 100+ figure is made up mostly of ratios and indices calculated from those results. Function's lawsuit alleges about 55 direct measurements; Superpower disputes it.

Does Superpower work in New York?

Yes, at a higher price. Its checkout lists a separate New York and New Jersey membership at double the national price. Superpower does not sell in nine states, including Rhode Island and Hawaii.

Can I get a refund from Superpower?

Cancelling stops renewal but does not refund the year. The membership agreement adds a one-time Satisfaction Refund of the base fee in a first term, with time limits set out in section 14, and a refund if an HSA or FSA claim is declined before the first draw.
