Comparison

Quick answer
On October 31, 2026, Everlywell's yearly lab panel cost $399 for 76 measured markers, about $5.25 each, while the cheapest LetsGetChecked kit cost $99 for an HbA1c and cholesterol check. For a broad yearly panel, Everlywell 360 is our pick; for one focused home kit run in the seller's own lab, LetsGetChecked. Prices are from Everlywell and LetsGetChecked.

The two brands get compared because both sell at-home kits, but they are now different businesses. Everlywell sells kits, a lab-store service called Everywhere and a yearly panel drawn at Quest. LetsGetChecked sells finger-prick kits and runs most of them in a lab it owns. Below: the prices test by test, who reads your results, where each one sells, and what each privacy policy allows. Both are scored on our best blood tests page.

Price: which is cheaper?

Test by test, Everlywell is cheaper for the common kits: HbA1c, cholesterol and testosterone all cost less there. LetsGetChecked is cheaper for a thyroid panel with antibodies. Two things change that picture.

First, Everlywell's in-lab service adds a fee. Its own summary for AI tools says you "Pay once at checkout" for the test and a licensed-clinician review, and the fee is in the table above (Everlywell llms.txt). On a single cheap test that fee is a large share of the bill, so a lab-test store can cost less; our blood test cost without insurance guide prices common tests store by store.

Second, a kit tests a handful of markers. If you want a broad yearly picture, compare Everlywell 360 with the memberships on our cost page, where every plan is divided by the markers it measures. Everlywell 360 measures 76 markers by our count at about $5.25 each; Function Health measures 99 at $3.69 each. Everlywell 360 does not include ApoB, which most memberships do; see ApoB coverage.

Who runs the samples, and who reads them

LetsGetChecked owns its lab. Its kit pages say "LetsGetChecked laboratories are CLIA approved and CAP-accredited" (LetsGetChecked). That is the stronger position for a kit: one company collects, ships and analyses, so there is one place to ask questions.

Everlywell draws its 360 panel at Quest, where you "book your sample collection appointment at one of 2,000+ Quest locations" (Everlywell 360). Its home kits go to partner labs it does not name on the pages we read. You can check any lab you are given on the CMS QCOR CLIA lookup.

On review, Everlywell's kit pages say "All tests are reviewed by an independent board-certified physician within your state" (Everlywell kit page). LetsGetChecked has a clinician review each order and its results, and charges extra for a treatment consult. Neither replaces your own clinician for what a result means.

Finger-prick samples are small, and some markers hold up better than others. Our at-home kits guide covers accuracy and when to repeat a result with a venous draw.

Where each one sells

Everlywell's in-lab service is limited by state law on direct-access testing: "Everywhere is not currently available in New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island." (Everlywell llms.txt). LetsGetChecked marks individual kits instead, for example "Test not available in NY" on its standard STI panel (LetsGetChecked). If you live in New York, check the kit page before you order; our New York page lists every service we track.

Refunds and renewals

LetsGetChecked's terms give "the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of the Product within fourteen (14) days of delivery" (LetsGetChecked terms). You return the kit at your own cost, and opened kits do not qualify.

Everlywell's kits are one-off purchases, but its memberships renew: "Certain Services, including Everlywell 360 and Everlywell+ Memberships, are sold on an automatic renewal basis." (Everlywell terms). Cancel at least a day before the next charge if you do not want a second year.

Privacy: read the policy, not the badge

Everlywell's kit pages say "Everlywell is HIPAA-compliant. This means we never sell your health data" (Everlywell kit page). Its website privacy notice also says "We may share certain categories of personal information with marketing and advertising vendors to deliver targeted advertisements" (Everlywell privacy policy). Those categories are identifiers such as IP address and device IDs, and there is an opt-out. In 2025 a settlement was reached over claims that Everlywell and Natalist "illegally shared website users’ private information with Facebook and Google via third-party tracking tools" (ClassAction.org), without an admission of wrongdoing.

LetsGetChecked says it "does not engage in sale of your personal information for monetary consideration" (LetsGetChecked privacy notice), while keeping the right to share it for purposes the notice lists. Our blood test privacy guide puts every provider's wording side by side.

Our verdict

Pick Everlywell for the yearly 360 panel at Quest or a cheap single kit, and switch off ad sharing in its privacy settings. Pick LetsGetChecked when you want one focused kit, such as thyroid antibodies or a male hormone panel, analysed in the seller's own accredited lab, and you live outside New York. Questions

FAQ

Everlywell vs LetsGetChecked: which is better?

For a broad yearly panel, Everlywell, because Everlywell 360 measures 76 markers at Quest for $399 a year. For a single focused home kit, LetsGetChecked, because it runs samples in its own CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited lab and scores far higher on Trustpilot. Common kits such as HbA1c and cholesterol cost less at Everlywell.

Is Everlywell legit?

Yes, in the sense that its tests run at CLIA-certified labs and its 360 panel is drawn at Quest. Two cautions: a pixel-tracking class action was settled in 2025 without admission, and its privacy notice allows sharing identifiers for targeted ads. Our [Everlywell legit check](/is-everlywell-legit) lists the lab, review and complaint record.

Is LetsGetChecked legit?

LetsGetChecked runs most kits in a lab it owns, which its own pages call CLIA approved and CAP-accredited, and a clinician reviews orders and results. It held a 4.3 Trustpilot score from more than 18,000 reviews on October 31, 2026. Some kits are not sold in New York. See the [LetsGetChecked legit check](/is-letsgetchecked-legit).

Which is cheaper, Everlywell or LetsGetChecked?

Everlywell, for most single kits: its HbA1c, cholesterol and total testosterone kits all cost less than the LetsGetChecked versions on October 31, 2026. LetsGetChecked's thyroid antibody kit costs less than Everlywell's thyroid kit. Everlywell's in-lab orders add a clinician review fee on every request, shown in the table above.

Do Everlywell and LetsGetChecked take insurance or HSA cards?

Insurance is not billed by either company for these tests. Both accept HSA and FSA cards at checkout, per their own pages. Whether a test counts as a qualified medical expense is up to your plan administrator; our [HSA and FSA guide](/guides/hsa-fsa-blood-tests) covers receipts and letters of medical necessity.

Can I get Everlywell or LetsGetChecked in New York?

Partly. Everlywell's in-lab Everywhere service is not sold in New York, New Jersey or Rhode Island, and only some of its home kits ship to New York. LetsGetChecked marks several kits, including its STI and male hormone panels, as not available in New York. Check the kit page before ordering. For every kit and panel priced per year, see our [cost page](/cost).
